Today since we did the mat program, we sat at the plinth for snack and had a touch and feel activity after snack. Jordan, as well as the other children, really enjoy the touch and feel days because they get to feel some weird stuff.
We started with some foam. Jordan is smiling in the picture, but soon after she was very upset because all she wanted to do was put her hands in her mouth.
Next, we got to feel a soft blanket, which Jordan thought was so funny. Ms. Orsi turned the lights off and we got to lay our head down and pretend like we were taking a nap.
The last thing we got to feel was a piece of sand paper. It was very rough and Jordan didn't know what to think about it. It did take her pretty red fingernail polish off that dad worked so hard on this past weekend, though.
