Fun Friday Night

Mark and I got an offer to go out on Friday night and spend some time together, which is rare around our house. Danielle and Justin offered to watch the kids so that we could get out and go eat dinner and see a movie. Mark and I went to eat at our favorite restaurant Shoguns in Little Rock. After our dinner, we went to a movie, thanks to Danielle and saw Last House on the Left. It was great to get out and enjoy some time not talking about therapy schedules or doctor's appointments. It was also great to know that our kids probably weren't missing us one bit the entire time we were gone, and looking at the pictures, it doesn't seem like they did. Justin and Marshall jammed out on the drums, while Jordan and Danielle laid in the living room floor to talk about boys. I think we all had a good night! Thanks again guys, it was great!!!

Marshall trying on glasses

Well, I took Marshall to try on glasses this week and he wasn't as cooperative as J was. He was okay with looking at them, but when we had to put them on, he didn't like that as much. The first thing he wanted to do was pull them off. So, I got a few pictures of him trying some on. They definitely make him look like an old kid! I guess he is though, since he is turning EIGHT this year.

Down at the River

So, since Jordan and I were back and she was beginning to feel better, we decided to go and visit Neenaw and Pa because they haven't seen the kids in a while. Of course, Marshall was off at soon as he hit the floor and Neenaw grabbed Jordan as soon as we walked in the door. Neenaw thought that Marshall would like to play with some toys, but all he wanted to do was scoot all around the house. He is very easily entertained. He had lots of fun, he even took a drink to Pa while he rocked Jordan. He knows what his great grandpa likes.

St. Patrick's Day 2009

The kids could still wear their shirts from last years picture, so we decided to do the same picture and see just how much they have changed in a year. Wow, Jordan looks like a completely different girl, but with the same cute nose and Marshall actually has teeth, but the same cute smile.

The Buckin Grandpa

This video needs little explaining other than this is Marshall's latest thing that he loves to do with his Grandpa, and he definitely doesn't think that Jordan should be able to!

Spring Time Fun At CENA

Since we were talking about Spring in class each day, we got to play outside on the playground one day after potty time. We also got to paint a springtime picture with paint. That was really fun. We also got to plant flowers. Jordan wasn't too happy about this, but her flowers are doing good. We just have to remember to water them daily!

Dogs, Dogs, and More Dogs

How many dogs can pile into a recliner while I rock Jordan? Well, from the looks of it, 3 can. Boomer decided to sit in the floor for this one.

We came home from Springdale today so that I could go to class tonight and Jordan could see Dee for therapy. During therapy Jordan was really fussy and acted like her shoulder was bothering her, which concerned Dee. We both agreed that she acted like she hurt it or something, something wasn't right. Mark took her over to the Chiropractor after therapy for them to check her out and do an x-ray and they couldn't really tell if anything was wrong or not, so after I got out of class at 7:30, we decided to drive to Children's to get an x-ray done of her shoulder to make sure that she hadn't subluxed it since we were returning to Springdale the next day to continue intensive therapy. This picture was of Jordan laying on the table showing off her muscles before getting her x-ray done. Of course when the doctors looked at her, she just laughed and smiled. The x-rays didn't show any signs of dislocation or anything else, so they recommended that we give Motrin for the pain and possible inflammation and watch her. As we always say, better to be wrong, than naive.
