Christmas with the Bailey's

We drove to Russellville to have Christmas with Mark's family today. We ate lunch at Susan's house and had Christmas with the Bailey's. After lunch Jordan and Ethan were obviously tired because Anna and I were rocking kids as soon as lunch was over. Ethan went to sleep, Jordan was just faking it.

Spoiled Dogs

Our dogs are spoiled to the core! This is a picture of them all sleeping on the couch during Christmas break. From left to right, Maple, Reese, Boomer and Belle. I don't think Boomer is missing Chicago at this point. (Sorry Aunt Lauren)

Christmas Morning

We got up early Christmas morning and went over to mom's house to open presents with them. We were over there by 8:00 and ate breakfast with everyone. Most of us were still in our pajamas since it was so early in the morning and Molly came out with her Christmas dress on. She was definitely more awake than we were. Jeremy cooked biscuits and gravy, hash browns, and scrambled eggs. Marshall loved breakfast and ate all of his food. Marshall, just like all of the other Christmas get togethers, did not care a bit about opening presents, he just wanted to see what everyone else was doing. I was trying to get a picture of mom with the kids in front of her Christmas tree, but no one would look at me. Then Rocket had to get in the picture and give Jordan a kiss. I obviously was not going to get a good shot no matter what I did, so this is it. Mom, Marshall, Jordan and Rocket. Rocket and Annie were trying to watch all the presents being passed out to make sure that they weren't getting left out.

Jeremy helping Marshall open a present, for the few seconds that he stayed still.

For Christmas this year, mom and Jeremy got Mark and I all of the things that we have borrowed from them all year..... and yes I have borrowed more cocoa from them than I can imagine. So, thanks to them I can now have my very own can of cocoa. Thanks guys!
Mom showing Marshall what he got from Grandma and Jeremy. He got a speed racer race track, I'm sure dad will have fun with this one!!

Christmas with the Marshall's

Merry Christmas! We celebrated Christmas with the Marshall side of the family in Morrilton. Dad came and got Marshall early that day and he hung out with his grandpa all day long, so when we showed up for Christmas, Marshall was not happy. He thought we were there to pick him up and go home and he didn't like that idea.

Jordan holding Kayla's dog, Emma.

I was trying to get a picture of Neenaw and Pa and the kids and Marshall wouldn't look at the camera, he kept looking at Pa's hat, so Mark put it on Marshall's head and he thought that was hilarious. He is such a goofball, but Pa thought he was funny! The picture below, Neenaw was showing off her purse.

Me and Jordan just sitting on the couch while brother and grandpa play around. Marshall thought it was so fun to get on dad's back like a horse and then dad wold throw him off onto the couch. He was laughing so hard that he couldn't breathe. He does love his grandpa! Then he got a snake in his stocking that he thought was pretty cool, but he really didn't care too much about the gifts, all he wanted to do was play with grandpa.

Marshall and Jordan trying to take a picture with Cindy and dad. We could never get all of them to look at the camera and smile, so here's what we got. Jordan was having fun with Amber by the Christmas tree, but all she cared about was the ceiling fan with the lights, of course and Marshall had to pose with Emma on the couch.

Taking a nap huh?

Marshall was supposed to be taking a nap, while I was feeding Jordan. I heard him playing in his room, so I obviously realized that he was not taking a nap. Then he came scooting into the kitchen with no pants on. I'm not sure what he was doing in his room, but he obviously played right out of his pants. Oh Marshi Bear!

Entertaining the Kids

At the end of the day, I'm simply running out of things to entertain these two kids. So, I put Jordan in her chair and Marshall in the wagon, aka boat for now, and they both watched a video. Marshall thought it was funny to sit in the boat and watch his video. Glad they are so easily entertained sometimes.

Christmas with the Brown's 2008

Tonight we had Christmas with Grandma and Grandpa Brown and Nana Bailey. The kids enjoyed seeing their grandparents, both kids were in such a good mood. Marshall was so excited to see everyone and played with Grandpa the entire time. He would not stop laughing at him! He was so into Grandpa that he didn't even want to open his presents. Nana gave him a gift to open and he scooted righ over it and headed straight to Grandpa Brown. Thank goodness it wasn't anything that could break!

Jordan got a doll that she just wanted to chew on and she also got some gloves to keep her hands warm. The gloves were a little big, but Jordan liked that because that made it easier to chew on them. She was happy sitting in her chair chewing on her gloves.
Showing off my "opera" purse that Becky got me and Marshall and Jordan are trying out their Radio Flyer wagon that Nana got them. Marshall thought it was fun to try to get out of it.
Marshall went straight to bed after everyone left tonight, he was so exhausted from playing with Grandpa Brown. Mark is playing with Marshall's toys, imagine that!!

Pumpkin Rolls Anyone?

Okay, so who's idea was it to make pumpkin rolls for all of Marshall and Jordan's teachers and therapists? Oh mine. There were 14 in all, and they were all for some very important people. We have been blessed with the most amazing teachers and therapists! We hope everyone enjoyed their "fat free" pumpkin rolls and has a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Ice Ice Baby

Well, since it never snows or ices in Arkansas we figured we'd better get out and take a few pictures of the kids in it. We got to try out their new coats and their ear muffs in this COLD weather and they worked great!! Jordan isn't quite sure what they are and why they are covering her ears, so she will definitely take some getting use to. Marshall could care less about his ear muffs, he was just trying to figure out why it was so much fun to scoot across the yard. Both kids were out of school today and will be out tomorrow, joy, joy! It's definitely been a long day, as will tomorrow! I'm sure once I'm a teacher I will love snow days just like the kids!
